Ubuntu Discourse policy change: Technical Support topics are now welcome

Ian Weisser alerts users of the Ubuntu Community Hub/Discourse that Technical Support topics are now welcome on the site, when posted in the correct Support and Help area. This page gives some clues of where to start, and welcomes the “friendly UbuntuForums community”. The post also details some changes, and alerts we’re still “in the early days” so patience is requested should problems be encountered.

Call for nominations: 2024 Ubuntu Technical Board

Merlijn Sebrechts, on behalf of the Community Council, declares of the opportunity for Ubuntu Core Developers to step up to a position on the Ubuntu Technical Board. Eligibility requirements, the application procedure, and the election timeline are provided. Wherein we are told that the voting ends Sunday 2024-12-22, 23:59 UTC.
