General Community News

New Canonical CLA Process

Aaron J Prisk reminds us why open source software is important, before moving to the new Canonical Contributor License Agreement (CLA). Along with details, we’re told it will need to be signed by new developers, as well as existing developers who’ve signed the prior CLA and will need to resign using the new process, by end of August, 2025. The change will be implemented in phases so “as to not cause disruption”.
