Hello Everyone

I’ve been programming web applications for 3 years now and I am intrigued to keep learning more advanced and practical ways of doing it. I am able to handle front-end development and back-end development and I am currently a candidate of a Web Developer role. I look forward to working with you all

Thank you

Hi friends and Ubuntu fans!

Great to be with you since Canonical sent my a CD of Warty in 2004 / 2005 in South Korea! I was amazed I got 5 copies and gave them out to friends there! Wow, free OS’s mailed around the World! I couldn’t have become a more enthusiastic and addicted lifelong user and beneficiary. Now, with a little more time on my hands I’d like to give back in what ways I can. My tech savvy is not as high as the younger generation, but my writing and editing aren’t bad, we’ll see where this could go. In any case, I’m just happy to be along for the ride!

Hello to Everyone. My name is Elle, and I’m a products and services designer. I’m studying sustainable design while working as a freelancer multidisciplinary designer , but I feel like I’m the only designer around.

I’m just now discovering this website. I’ve done some study on it and it’s a great new revolution, but sadly, we never heard about it in Tunisia.

Thank you very much for this new space to introduce ourselves and meet nice people inside Ubuntu ecosystem.

I’m trying to get the official Ubuntu Membership, and one of the requisites is a Discourse post like this, or a wiki page.

Please help me! My wiki is https://wiki.ubuntu.com/jado92mx and nowadays I don’t have permissions to edit or update it in order to apply properly to the Membership.

I wait for your help and answers. Greetings!

Hello, I’m Laura from Buenos Aires, Argentina, what is the best way to start contributing? I’m interested in GStreamer and Cheese Webcam Booth, and who knows, creating my own snap, but I just learned about their existence. I’m a developer with 11 years experience in C++ and currently applying for a job for GStreamer. Hope someone can point me in the right direction! Thanks a lot.

Welcome to the Community!

Thanks bernard, with a little help from stackoverflow I could run the first tutorial for GStreamer on Windows 10 & Visual Studio 2022!

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21265582/gstreamer-c-on-visual-studio-2010

I was a little bit confused by the “migrated to Monorepo” on github, but I think I cloned the right repository. Anyway, If an update to the documentation at https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/installing/on-windows.html?gi-language=c is needed, I’ll be happy to help. I’ll just need to know how to become a contributor to that I guess. Cheers!
