If I had a technical question about the Ubuntu Discourse forum itself,particularly having to do with my user profile,what would be the best category to post in?

For the Ubuntu Loco Team Forums the equivalent in Discourse is Ubuntu Local Communities, right?
So support questions in the language of the Ubuntu Loco Team, should go there, right?

Yes, posts in Catalan, in your case, would go in your Ubuntu Local Communities area.
