2022-03-25T17:00:00Z @hellsworth What happens when you train and AI to make stunningly beautiful art just from a phrase, and then turn it loose on all of the Ubuntu animals? Some gorgeous and mysterious and mind-boggling artwork, that’s what! Join Heather and the Community Team as they talk to Simon Butcher, the brilliant mind behind these images, about his background in computing, especially on Ubuntu, and how it led to this most recent project. Maybe he’ll even create some art for us during the stream! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arB2hmHg2RM

2022-02-25T17:00:00Z @hellsworth Let’s talk about the upcoming Linux App Summit (LAS)! This is a joint conference, hosted by both KDE and GNOME, so we will have the two main representing parties on to tell us all about LAS and other upcoming events in those communities. Aleix is the current president of KDE e.V. and has been involved in the KDE efforts for 15 years! In addition to his LAS contributions, he helps make sure Akademy runs smoothly. Kristi is the magic behind GNOME conferences and anyone attending GUADEC the last few years has likely noticed her huge positive impact, making the conference run seamlessly. So come see how their combined forces compliment each other to host an amazing Linux conference!

  • If you have a stream in the next 4-6 weeks, edit this page (it’s a wiki) to add it. If your stream is part of a series, say so in the description.
  • When your stream has past, please remember to move the listing from Upcoming to Recent, and to add a link to the stream (there’s a column for that). CHANGE: Don’t delete old streams from the list anymore – we are building an index from them.
