When Host Description
2021-11-17T21:30:00Z @diogoconstantino The Flutter SDK by Google is the Open Source UI toolkit to create native applications with one codebase. What is Flutter and why should you care about it? At the end of the talk, you will understand the decisions behind Flutter, why it is so different from other mobile development tools and platforms and why so many developers are addicted to it. We’ll start by understanding the architecture of Flutter, the basic elements, and tackling the reason for picking Dart language for developing Flutter. If we have time I will present some code for a Flutter elementary application but I will give more priority to Q&A.
2021-11-18T18:45:00Z @madhens The Community Team sits down with some of the hardest working Ubuntu support staff in middle school! Distinguished teacher Stu Keroff introduces the Community Team to members of the Penguin Corps - a Linux club for students in grades 5-8 who learn about Linux and Ubuntu by refurbishing computers for people in need. Learn about their current initiatives, a pilot 1:1 laptop program and a student-administered checkout cart, and get inspired by the next generation of the Ubuntu community!
2021-11-23T20:30:00Z @yannick-mauray Community host Yannick Mauray sits down with Monica Ayhens-Madon, not just in her role as the Ubuntu Community Representative but also as his fellow team-mate for Ubuntu MATE! He gets to know more about her, how she got started with Linux and Ubuntu, and what she does at Canonical to keep our favourite operating system going!
