Ubuntu Desktop Team Indaba (AMA) - November 4, 2022 @ 4PM UTC

What is the Ubuntu Desktop Team Indaba? Indaba is a South African term for “a conference or consultation between people”. This will be a live stream event, featuring members of the Ubuntu Desktop Team and members of the community. To get a feel for what to expect, you can review the previous months’ Indabas.

To keep up a consistent cadence of these Indabas, we’ve decided to have them the last Friday of the month, every month. The details are:

When: 2022-11-04T16:00:00Z
Where: UbuntuOnAir - YouTube
Where: UbuntuOnAir - Twitch
Who:

Since we’ve just had our Kinetic Kudu release, we’d like to highlight the release process in a special Indaba! We will be coming to you live from Prague, all in the same room  We will talk about all aspects of the release process, with some key release team members. So come join the fun and take this opportunity to ask questions around the release process or anything Ubuntu!

We stream to both YouTube and twitch and we see the live chat in both for you to join the discussion and ask any questions of us. You are also welcome to ask your questions on this thread in advance and we’ll do our best to answer them on air :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m heading into London to meet a friend on Friday so I might miss the stream (depends what time I start to head home again) :sob:

The Indaba was great (I watched it earlier today), but I don’t recall seeing Philipp, but I do recall Ken VanDine (@kenvandine) stepping in for an update on Steam.

Yeah sorry about that, Philipp was swamped with Ubuntu Summit stuff and couldn’t make it. I hope you understand
