Since joining the Ubuntu Korea Community Facebook group on 6 August 2018, I have been an active contributor to the group. Furthermore, I have been serving as the Forum Moderator of the Ubuntu Korea LoCo team since 29 April 2023. In this capacity, I have been providing technical assistance to the community on the Ubuntu Korea LoCo forum. Furthermore, I have contributed to the redefinition of the forum’s specific rules, expanding upon the principles of the Ubuntu Code of Conduct, with the objective of ensuring a better community environment. Additionally, I created a forum question guideline to help users ask better questions, which can be found here.
He has been managing the Ubuntu Korea Community forum to prevent it from being overrun by spam posts. Additionally, driven by his interest in LXD, he has given presentations at UbuCon Korea and the Home Server Workshop.
Since joining the Ubuntu Korea LoCo staff, he has been responsible for moderating our forums (discourse), playing an important role in dealing with spam and other threads that do not meet our code of conduct.
He also gave a presentation on LXD at Ubucon Korea and gave a presentation on related topics at a home server workshop in Busan. These activities are also steadily progressing, and we are looking forward to more active activities in the future.
Euiseo has been contributing to keeping Korean LoCo Forum active and safe place since last year. Dealing with spams and posts potentially violates Code of conducts are usually quite tedious and sometimes annoying job while such efforts isn’t much shown to other folks visiting our forum. His work on “Guidance on asking question on forum” has been also helpful on guiding new users to post questions with enough informations for receiving some community support.
In addition to his contribution to Korean LoCo forum, He’s been also contributing to organizing numerous events and running Korean LoCo booth at other events such as GopherCon Korea 2024 and more.
For that, I’m also looking forward what he’ll do as a Ubuntu Member in the future - maybe next year?
