Ubuntu Wiki pages edit

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question but is there a problems with editing the Ubuntu wiki pages. I have been editing for years and now I cannot even log on with my Ubuntu one credentials. Does anyone have any idea what is going on.

I think this is an excellent place to ask that question.

Yes. Accidentally I stumbled upon this RT ticket:

#61049: [high-prio] Ubuntu Wiki is not taking nonces correctly.

So the issue has been reported and will hopefully be addressed soon.

Thank you for the information. Guess I will wait until I can once again edit.

Add the UWN team also to this - >> “OpenID error: Nonce already used or out of range.” on attempts to authenticate for any of /wiki.ubuntu.com/ 's pages.

Until we can login - we can not produce the Newsletter.

-these things happen ? -

I disabled NoScript and clicked the login button as if I was playing cookie clicker and it worked.
Now I’m logged in.

Thank You @madhens for the research and fix of our
Wiki Edit sso login. Awesome job reminding them
about the problem, now it works fine.

There are two wikis. I can log in successfully to https://help.ubuntu.com/community, but not to https://wiki.ubuntu.com . I’m still getting the message “OpenID error: Nonce already used or out of range.”. (And the RT ticket is still open.)

I am in the same position as gunnarhj being able to log in to https://help.ubuntu.com/community but not to my team wiki https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArizonaTeam.

Now I am in a position to log in with my Ubuntu one credentials but the wiki pages are still immutable. That might be a separate issue.

It sounds like the issue might have been resolved by IS - it’s a small crew on the weekend, and it’s a holiday weekend - so this is good to hear! Rex, I saw you found the wiki editors team, and I just approved your request!

Were you able to log into your team wiki page?

I am now able to log in using my Ubuntu one credentials but all of our wiki pages as well as other Ubuntu wiki pages that I have checked are still immutable. The membership in the wiki editors team apparently does nothing to alleviate that particular problem. Like I said above that might be a separate issue.

Thank you madhens. I can now edit. I just logged out and then back in and all of our wiki pages have become editable.

Wonderful! I am so glad to hear the problem is fixed, since we want our Active LoCos to be able to update their resources and pages! Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there’s anything we can do to help your LoCo out.

@madhens: I’m still met by “OpenID error: Nonce already used or out of range.” when trying to login to https://wiki.ubuntu.com .

May be worth mentioning that I have never been a member of ~ubuntu-wiki-editors, since I became an Ubuntu Member before that team was invented. And as an Ubuntu Member I have still been able to edit the wikis. Can that possibly be related? Do Ubuntu Members no longer have automatic edit access to the wikis?
