Ubuntu Community Booth @ FOSSASIA Summit 2025?

Hello all!

FOSSASIA Summit 2025 will be happening in Bangkok, Thailand on March 13-15.
They are currently accepting session proposals as well as community booth applications until 2024-12-22T10:00:00Z

While I’ve already submitted by workshop proposal, I’m just wondering if any other folks would be joining the event. And also would be interested to submit Ubuntu booth application and have a Ubuntu community booth there. Deadline is just around the corner, So if you will be joining and also interested to run booth together, quick reply would be appreciated

Details can be found from links below.

Edit: Thanks to @soumyadghosh, We got “Ubuntu + Snapcrafters Booth” booth application already submitted. If you would like to volunteer for booth, simply reply to this thread to join

I have also submitted my workshop proposals. Let’s see if it gets selected. Maybe we can take inspiration from FOSDEM and have a portable booth for Ubuntu this year at FOSSASIA?

I haven’t been to FOSDEM yet, but it is something @kewisch was doing by roaming around with bunch of swags on large tray?

I would personally say, if we have some enough number (maybe 3 or 4?) of folks going there, getting a booth might be better as we can also use that as meeting point for Ubuntu folks

Oh, then unless you have a lot more snapcrafters folks joining fossasia, Would you like to consider simply update your booth application as something like Ubuntu + Snapcrafters?

Yup, just a minute. I don’t know if I can add you though. Is it possible?
