multipass delete command will remove instances from use. This will not destroy the instance and can be used again with the
multipass recover command. However, using the
--purge option will destroy the instance and cannot be recovered.
--all option will delete all instances. Take care if using this option.
Instances that are deleted but not destroyed can be permanently removed using the
multipass purge command.
