Mir News: 12th of October 2018

It’s been another quiet week on Mir, with all members of the team having at least some of this week off!

Although it’s not quite ready to land on master, there is this:

It’s Mir running on my NVIDIA laptop. It differs from the pre-Brussels-sprint state in that

  • It doesn’t flicker terribly (or at all! Yay!), and
  • This branch doesn’t break rendering for everything not NVIDIA. This has involved rejigging the Platform abstractions at the heart of Mir’s graphics platform and GL renderer, but as an added bonus should result in the mesa-kms platform also gaining support for YUV buffers!
