Listening to contributors (code, documentation, translation, testing, etc.): participate in a feedback session

Hello everyone!

I’m Sebastian, a member of the Community team at Canonical. If you’re a contributor to Ubuntu or any open source project under Canonical’s umbrella, I’d love to listen to you! Whether you contribute code, documentation, translation, or test code, I’d like to invite you to fill in this form so I can consider adding you to those feedback sessions.

This is for me – and a few other engineers and product managers at Canonical – to hear your perspective on the process of contributing to Ubuntu. I’m keen to learn what you feel works well, any challenges you might have encountered, and any ideas you have for how we can improve the overall contribution experience for everyone. This is purely a listening exercise for us, aimed at gathering valuable feedback.

You don’t have to be a super active contributor either. I may not be able to select all of those who submit the form to take part in those listening conversations so please don’t be offended if I don’t invite you – but please feel free to share any feedback at any point, here on Discourse, or over email, or on Matrix.

Thank you!

Sebastian

Sebastian - My coding skills are obsolete circa 1980’s. Been using Linux since about 1996, and currently on Kubuntu Plucky.

I am happy to offer my services as a proof reader to enhance documentation, to ensure correct grammar and punctuation in (UK) English.
Best regards, Tony
