How to turn off Plus or Expand Icon of Status Notifier Plugin

When the Status Notifier panel plugin has a couple of applets in it, it uses a plus (+) sign while hiding some icons as can be seen in the screenshot.

Clicking on this plus icon expands the Status Notifier area and shows all the icons of the applets.

I was looking for a way to show all the icons by default without showing this plus icon, but I couldn’t find any workaround.

How can I do that?

Right click the plus sign and select “Configure Status Notifier”.
In the dialog select “Always show” for the items to permanently display in panel.

As this asks for help, or “how to” do something, I moved it to Support and Help with the Lubuntu tag.

Thank you. That did the trick.

I, actually, made some widgets “always hide”. I thought they wouldn’t appear in the panel. Instead I got the expand or plus icon.

Though this issue is resolved, how do I remove some widgets from the Status Notifier? Because, there I can only find options for showing or hiding them, but not permanently removing them.

Usually this is done by reconfiguring and/or not running the programs that produce the widgets. What are the specific Status Notifier widgets you would like to remove?
