Hello drufuss2002, could you please post some information about the nature of the problem?

Likely a duplicate of Problem with Thunderbird and Google - Support and Help - Ubuntu Community Hub

I am running with 24.04

eeickmeyer has it right. I screwed up (again). I thought it was gone so i started all over and then it appeared when Frogs_Hair asked his question. I still continue to wonder if I can goto google and get rid of the mozilla thunderbird - if its not the same thing as the thunderbird I use in ubuntu. This one is a little scary. I can, if anybody wants, can copy the stuff from google and send it on this.

Here is, pretty much, what I am dealing with with Google - Mozilla Thunderbird thing:
Access you’ve given to Mozilla Thunderbird Email
Mozilla Thunderbird Email has some access to info in your Google Account, including info that might be sensitive. You can always remove this access. Learn about the risks
Access given on:
November 17, 2024
Web address:
https://www.thunderbird.net
Mozilla Thunderbird Email can: read, compose, send, etc
This app wants permission to do anything you can do in your Gmail, including:
Read your emails
Compose new emails
Add new emails meant for a different email address into your inbox
Send emails for you
Delete your email
Create, change or delete your email labels
Get notified when certain kinds of emails appear in your Gmail inbox, like a travel confirmation
Your email may contain sensitive info, like names of your contacts, your private communications, or financial or medical information.
If I stop this it will stop everything above. This is what bothers me…

Thank you for the replies…
