Following the release of Mir 2.17 and the creation of the 24 tracks for a number of snaps, the following snaps were updated in the respective channels:

There has not been (and will not be) any update to the latest track for Ubuntu Frame. If you have Ubuntu Frame track latest deployed, please switch to track 20 or 22 for the least disruption (or track 24 for the latest features). For details see PSA: Retiring the latest tracks for ubuntu-frame*, graphics- and mir-test-tools (action required).
Ubuntu Frame
22 Track
This is the final update of the 22 track to the latest version of Mir. Following this release, the 22 track will only be updated for bugfixes and security patches. To continue receiving the latest updates to Mir, please update to the 24 track.
24 Track
The 24 track is the new focus of development and contains the latest version of Mir: Mir Release 2.17.0. This update brings many new exciting features and bugfixes in Mir, and one major update to Ubuntu Frame:
- Upgrade the snap to core24 (#177)
Testing
To test, simply switch to the candidate channel:
snap refresh --channel 22/candidate ubuntu-frame
# or...
snap refresh --channel 24/candidate ubuntu-frame
Ubuntu Frame VNC and OSK
22 Track
The 22 track will now be entering maintenance mode, meaning that it will only received bugfixes and security patches going forward. Please update to the 24 track.
24 Track
The 24 track is the new focus of development for Ubuntu Frame VNC and Ubuntu Frame OSK.
Testing
To test, simply switch to the candidate channel:
