Wouldn’t it be super awesome if we just had something that prompted for the information and programmatically created the file (maybe even with hashed passwords)? That way we wouldn’t spend four days fighting a system that barely works. If I sound bitter it’s because I am a bit.

Hi everyone - wanted to note that the installation doc works for me on Raspberry Pi 4 Model B running 20.10 server. A couple of reboots and I was able to connect from my desktop via MobaXTerm (alternative to PuTTY).

What we really need now is someone to show the start-to-finish configuration after install. There are too many docs/forums online that are using the older networking tools. We need a start-to-finish for 20.04+ (or 20.10 if it can’t work properly prior to that). A lot of people want to work with what they have installed, not completely reimage.
