Will Changing My Launchpad ID Break Links to My Ubuntu Wiki Contributions?

Question: If I change my Launchpad ID, will the links to my existing contributions on the Ubuntu Community Help Wiki break or become invalid?

Context:

  • I’ve edited wiki pages under my current Launchpad username.
  • I want to ensure my past edits remain properly attributed after the change.

Additional Details:

  • Are wiki contributions tied to the account ID (and thus preserved), or do they rely on the username?
  • If anyone has experience with this, I’d appreciate confirmation before proceeding.

I do not have a specific answer for you right now but I will try and get one.

I can tell you that major changes are in the works to refresh and update the Ubuntu wiki pages.
