VM with extremly poor network performance on new KVM host

Hi

problem W/ 24.04.02 LTSC / kernel 6.11.0-26 (running in Oracle OLVM (oVirt flavor).)

VM Running on host DELL R630 (w/ broadcom 10Gb/s NICs) is OK

VM Running on Host DELL R660 (w/ broadcom 25Gb/s NICs) is NOK

Reverting to kernel 6.8.0-060800 is OK.

6.14.11 NOK
6.15.2 NOK

A similar problem on Windows server 2022 has been solved by uninstalling “win10pcap”. A program that has been sitting there for years after Wireshark installation and usage at some point.

I did not try the more recent npcap, because Wireshark was not necessary and I uninstalled both

I understand that Linux has packet capture build in the kernel. That might be clue.
