I found a usb stick and thought I would see what it was. It said, on the side, “NAND USB2DISK” I went to Discs (the p;rogram and thought to format it. Nope, won’t work. Then I want to Gparted and, nope, not even recognized. I have also searched through Google for this thing. I came across it several times and every one seemed, to me, a little odd. Slo I am here. Does anybody know how to format and use this one?
Thank you…
Your device might be using raw NAND flash chips directly, rather than having a controller that handles all the low-level flash management internally.
Software to manage raw NAND flash is often proprietary and not released to the public by manufacturers.
Try using some dedicated software such as Sandisk RescuePro. This is literally first thing that Google recommended to me. Disclaimer: I did not use this tool myself. Yet
Best of luck,

I tried the Sandisk RescuePro thing. Kinda expensive. I suspect more than this thing is worth. If you want I can just send it to you, otherwise I am going to give it up. I do not want it back but you might have a bit of fun with it.
Thank you for the Reply!
You can buy a 400M Sec USB3 128Gig for $8. Doesn’t make sense to waist time on a USB2 drive when Mem prices are as low as they are. Of course you would need a USB3 port to get the max speed.
