This seems to be related to the problems I have with a brand new Lenovo thinkpad P16 G2. It came from Lenovo with do-release-upgrade disabled. Enabling it just leads to upgrade failure. It shipped with 22.04. I want to stay up-to-date.i.e. 24.04.1.You guys here seem knowledgeable. Any ideas how I may do this?
Actually, @stevecoh1, it wasn’t related as your issue is separate, so I moved it to a new topic for you. That issue was about a lack of OEM configuration mode, your issue is about an OEM installation that needs to be release-upgraded. The two are not intertwined.
