Unable to connect to remote sharing with desktop locked

Ubuntu Version:
25.10

Desktop Environment (if applicable):
GNOME

Problem Description:
I have enabled “Desktop Sharing,Remote control” and “Remote Login”

I am logged in on the computer, and locked it (Super+L) or it timed out and locked/switched off the displays. (the computer is still on, not suspended/hibernated - only displays are off.)

No remote connection can be established on port 3390 or 3389

If I am near the computer, and can unlock desktop, the connection to 3389 works as expected.

How can I remotely “wake” allow me to see the login screen remotely, and log in?
I have SSH connection, so I can wake/unlock it that way, but it is not very convenient.

I never made that works. At the end I disabled autolocking to have the desktop always available for a remote connection (I’m my case it isn’t a risk to have it always unlocked).
