Ubuntu Unity Remix 20.04

Thanks for the swift response, have taken note of where to go in future.

Not sure why people like wall but best way is to set up properly in ccsm as in screen, this way ctrl+alt+all arrow keys work logically

Ubuntu Unity 20.04.1 RPi Alpha 1 is now available for Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+ and 3B (arm64).

It includes i386-arm that sets up an emulated Debian i386 (9) environment. This would help you to run 32-bit programs on your Raspberry Pi from the terminal.

Details are available at https://ubuntuunity.org/2020/10/14/ubuntu-unity-for-raspberry-pi-alpha1/

Ubuntu Unity 20.10 “Groovy Gorilla” Release Candidate ISO is now available.

Don’t think so, as you know Unity 7 isn’t actively developed, it’s in maintenance mode. Which means no new features will be added to Unity 7 itself. You can try to install redshift though if you need something similar to Night Shift.

Now you can enjoy running 64-bit (amd64) programs on Ubuntu Unity for the Raspberry Pi (or any ARM computer running Debian or its derivatives for that matter) using ‘amd64-arm’, with which you can set up an emulated Debian 64-bit (amd64) environment on an ARM computer/SBC.

Do you have a link available to show how you created the raspi image? This would be very useful to see what the make up of the final image is. TIA.

@fossfreedom Thanks!

There are no docs at the moment. However, it’s quite similar to Ubuntu Retro Remix (by @Wimpress). I’ll add in docs soon.
