Ubuntu software is a blank - is there a way to fix it?

Problem Description:

my ubuntu software only has blanks. Today its not even loading (which it says its doing but nothing happens there either). This is a known problem. I should also mention that it is not listed in snap. I have tried everything I found but nothing works. I wonder if I should just get rid of it.

Try sudo snap refresh snap-store
then try starting it from terminal: snap run snap-store and report messages here.

Today, for absolutely no reason, when I started, it said that the ubuntu software was updating. I clicked on this and suddenly I actually had it! I have been trying to get this for a long time. One of the things I read said that ubuntu itself was searching the wrong place and could never fill. Apparently that is either fixed or clicking it when its possibly searching the right place was right.

Anyway - I think this is currently fixed - thank you…

Since the problem has resolved itself, I’m closing this. I don’t think we should select anything as the solution since neither the problem nor the fix is entirely clear. Glad it’s all working out, however mysterious!
