Ubuntu Landscape Firewall ports

Hey guys,

Hope y’all staying safe. I have a quick question regarding Ubuntu Landscape. We are using Landscape as Saas product provided by canonical and it works great.
All of our computers are registered and connected to the landscape, but now we want to add firewall in our network. Therefore we would like to know what ports need to be open on ubuntu servers to keep a constant connection with landscape cloud.
And can we also get somehow the IP addresses of Landscape servers which we can whitelist on our edge firewall?

Thank you

Thanks, the ports should just be web traffic with and without https: 80 and 443

As far as the IP range, we can’t promise stable IPs and suggest sticking with the DNS if at all possible.

I saw you question about Landscape as Saas and also wanted to find out if you experienced the system error message using the platform. Message shows as below. In my case when I click on the Packages tab and hoping to do release upgrade from other versions to ubuntu 22.04 for example, I very often end with system error message.
" System error (500), OOPS ID: [‘OOPS-87d824fa0e3ebc2743f3fdc5b89655ee’]

Hi @ericfuche,
The OOPS you’re observing seems to be unrelated to the DomainName → IP address mapping discussed above.

Considering you’re asking about the Landscape as SaaS product, you should probably reach out to the Canonical Support, by clicking this link and providing them with your OOPS ID for further investigation.
