What is the Ubuntu Desktop Team Indaba? Indaba is a South African term for “a conference or consultation between people”. This will be a live stream event, featuring members of the Ubuntu Desktop Team and members of the community. To get a feel for what to expect, you can review the previous months’ Indabas.
To keep up a consistent cadence of these Indabas, we’ve decided to have them the last Friday of the month, every month. However this would fall on November 26 which is the day after Thanksgiving in the US when most of us Americans are in a food coma Also since the last Friday of December is when we will be off work, we chose a happy Friday in the middle! The details are:
When: 2021-12-03T15:00:00Z

There has been a lot of amazing work happening in the WSL realm (that’s Windows Subsystem for Linux), so come meet the folks that make it happen! We’ll be joined by the main developers that will talk about recent cool new updates and be able to answer all of your WSL questions. Jean-Babitste leads this small and efficient team and has been involved from day one with Didier. Recently, we’ve hired Carlos from the community to help continue the amazing work. So come join the fun and take this opportunity to ask questions around WSL or anything Ubuntu!
We stream to both YouTube and twitch and we see the live chat in both for you to join the discussion and ask any questions of us. You are also welcome to ask your questions on this thread in advance and we’ll do our best to answer them on air
