Hey!

and breaks snapd
I use Kubuntu 25.10 minimal install so that no snaps are installed, but I will test the main Ubuntu just incase it’s a serious bug.
Update: I ran ‘sudo snap refresh’ in terminal which thankfully downloaded and updated the gnome-42 snap and didn’t remove anything else.
If this persists, maybe try installing gnome-software and the gnome-software-plugin-snap for your updates as I less hassle when using this.
“sudo snapd refresh” does not exist, command is: “sudo snap refresh”
and i see no problem running it in Ubuntu 25.10
corrado@corrado-n3-qq-0918:~$ sudo snap refresh
[sudo: authenticate] Password:
All snaps up to date.
corrado@corrado-n3-qq-0918:~$
Fresh vanilla 25.10 beta install, up to date.
sudo snapd refresh
sudo-rs: 'snapd': command not found
Hardly surprising since snapd is the service that runs snaps and not an application itself.
