The Ubucon Portugal 2023, an Ubuntu-pt community organized conference dedicated to celebrate Ubuntu, and its community is to held in Aveiro (Portugal) on the next 17th of September.

This Ubucon Portugal, which will be the second, will be one of the tracks of Festa do Software Livre 2023.
Festa do Software Livre, is the third edition of an event organized by the Free Software community in Portugal. This year it also takes the form of a hat conference where multiple other conferences and events of several communities will be held (like Ubucon Portugal 2023).

At Ubucon Portugal, we will have a few presentations by the community members, and a hackaton to remake the Ubuntu-pt website, and some sessions which details will be announced soon.

Important note:
All sessions will be held in Portuguese.

Update we already have a schedule for the conference.

We will have presentations on several topics, from current ubuntu-pt projects, to usage of Ubuntu and Free Software, and usage of Xubuntu on Enterprise, and a workshop which will introduce attendees to the tech (Hugo) that will be used in the afternoon hackathon.

Forgot to mention that there’s also a public schedule for the Festa do Software Livre (the event within which there will be the Ubucon Portugal), with will have a lot of other interesting Free Software presentations, workshops and hackatons.
