Hello Ubuntu World !

We are very excited to announce that registration for UbuCon Korea 2024 is now open! UbuCon(s) are community-organized conferences for the Ubuntu community, bringing together contributors, enthusiasts, and users from all over the world. UbuCon Korea, in particular, is the biggest regional event of Ubuntu Korea Community and focuses on the specific interests and needs of the Korean Ubuntu community. This year’s UbuCon Korea 2024 will take place on August 10 at Microsoft Korea

Tracks and Topics

This year’s theme is “Deploying with Ubuntu” and includes the following tracks:

  • Software Packaging: From basic Debian / Snap software packaging to automatic builds, multi-architecture support, port and repackage applications from other operating systems.
  • Robotics and IoT: Develop, ship, and update your robotics or IoT(Internet of Things) software using ROS, Ubuntu Core, and Snap.
  • Data and AI: Research artificial intelligence and data science with open-source SDKs/APIs supported by Ubuntu ecosystem.
  • Cloud and Infrastructure: Deploy and manage infrastructure with Ubuntu using MAAS, Juju, K8s, OpenStack, or other solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Apply security policies, pre-installed environments, and patches for your organization with Ubuntu.

Who is this conference for?

If you’ve always been interested in the Ubuntu or just want to find people to talk to about Ubuntu, UbuCon Korea is a great opportunity. There will be a variety of sessions and food, so there’s no pressure, just come prepared to have fun with others!
