Inspired by the fantastic work of UbuCon teams across North America, Asia, and Latin America, we are taking things to the next level—bringing UbuCon Europe back as a co-located event at OpenSouthCode 2025!
Join us for an incredible summer journey into open source. 
Imagine this: Inspiring open source projects and the beautiful, sunny Malaga in Spain don’t necessarily need to be a challenging diff. They can be a perfect merge! This is the opportunity we are all waiting for—to blend our passion for open source with a fantastic summer vacation! And make sure you bring the young ones. OpenSouthKids is a full day of activities dedicated to the younger generations of geeks. 
Ubuntu is going to have a strong presence with a booth where we will engage with the community, answer all your burning questions, run demos and showcase the orange side of Linux to all participants. Yes, our booth will be very orange, and word of warning, the bright orange of Ubuntu is not a bug but a feature! 
Adding to the booth activities, we are going to have a room dedicated to workshops, where we will challenge each other with brain-tingling activities. We will share more details about the content, but we are also eager to hear from you. What are the Ubuntu-related skills you would like to learn at UbuCon Europe this summer?
