Ubuntu Version: 24.10
Desktop Environment (if applicable): GNOME
Problem Description:
As of one or two updates ago, (609 or the version before maybe?), thunderbird started using a very small yaru mouse pointer instead of my regular-sized DMZ-White themed mouse pointer. This doesn’t happen with other snaps (slack/firefox/signal), only with thunderbird. I’ve looked at the difference between firefox and thunderbird connections and don’t see anything related. What else can I check?

also, is bugzilla.mozilla.org the right place to report thunderbird issues now that it’s a snap and not a deb, or somewhere else?
The Thunderbird team is maintaining it directly with cooperation from Canonical, so yes, Bugzilla is the correct place (and even says so at Install thunderbird on Linux | Snap Store) to report bugs.
Thanks, filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1944192 – I suspected that was the case but ubuntu-bug pointed me to https://www.thunderbird.net/contact/ which might eventually lead to bugzilla with enough/the-right clicks…
Right. ubuntu-bug
can’t be used for snaps, and in some cases it’s smart enough to tell you what you need to do.
snap info thunderbird
would have also given the bug link.
