24.04.2 LTS - Home directory shows NO image thumbnails of any size for any manner of image with Nautilus, Dolphin, Nemo, Krusader - there must be an easy fix for this silliness!
Other file managers are not really relevant to this discussion, as they have their own controls and requirements. If you’re using Lubuntu and the default file manager (pcmanfm-qt) it will work, as long as you deal with the file size limit mentioned above.
For other file managers, open a new topic.
None of that helps for Ubuntu 24.04.2 w/default Nautilus File Manager, nor any of the other mentioned file managers. Not seeing image thumbnails in the HD is nothing short of annoying. I wish I could go back to Mint …
Like I said, new topic. I’ve created one for you.
I gather that you’re using Ubuntu not Lubuntu (as in the original topic), correct?
Are your issues specifically related to image thumbnails as opposed to other kinds (e.g. documents, videos, etc.)?
What specific kind of images? How big are they? Where are they located?
