Is there any plan for 18.04 to have a 3rd party section in Ubuntu Software? Similar to what Solus and Ubuntu MATE are doing with their respective software centers. They have 3rd party section for softwares such as Google Chrome, Vivaldi, Google Earth, Opera, Spotify, Steam (currently in Ubuntu Software), Dropbox (currently in Ubuntu Software), Skype, Visual Studio Code, Telegram, etc. to name a few.

I think that the idea of a welcome centre would be a great edition to ubuntu and this could cover the installation of third party apps.
