Snapd consume about 1GB memory after snap install 3 apps on a fresh install lunar vm with 4GB ram.
I’m new to ubuntu and not sure that this is intended behavior or not.

at least telegram-desktop and vlc are available as debs… apt install
This is only showing virtual memory… use something like htop, search for snapd in there and take a look at the RES column to see actually used memory, you will find it is way lower…
