Snap Store: "Automatic updates paused / the current network is metered" (it is NOT metered)

I installed Snap Store to KDE neon and opened the store to use it but this nag is there.

Clicking that open network settings button there does not work (clicking it does nothing). Why is Snap Store thinking that my internet connection is metered?

The connection to this particular PC is through a tethered Android phone with an ISP that does not even offer these limited “metered connections”.

To try to fix that, check your network manager settings and be sure to unselect this option:

Eventually in your phone check if you can ‘fake’ that you’re on unmetered ‘upstream’ connection.
