I had a system which I used, along with my denon avr-s760h. It worked fine for a number of years with no problem. (I could play downloaded shows on my system or I could use the stuff one can get from off the internet, and access etc. with no problems). Then, one day it stopped. This could have been with my messing with stuff, or kids doing same, or just time. It was also very old. Before I start I think I had better explain myself. I am 90 years old. I have been messing with computers for a very long time. Now, however, I am slowing some.
Anyway, I need somebody to tell me how I should set this up so I can try again. I suspect that I am no longer up to setting up again. I was going to explain how everything was setup but when I started tracing wires I found three attached to where a thing was on my roof (demented a bit and forget the name - It was for tv) I am telling you this stuff so that you can understand. Anyway, after finding those wires I gave up. I need to completely setup my system again. I have a good tv, I have speakers (2 front, 2 back, & one in the middle) All the speakers are connected and work just fine. I also understand that there are now apps for denon stuff and am not against getting one of them if it will help in the job (hopefully can help me get one that will work for me). I am also getting another computer to replace the one that died. It will be a normal desktop i7 and should do the job. I also have the denon avr-s768h which is working just fine. Oh, and I have tested my speakers and they are all running. I also have a setup for my sub-woofer that also works just fine.
What I need is directions of where to attach what to where. I have a pile of wires, etc. I realize this is complicated and am hoping that somebody can tell me what to do to restore my stuff.
Thank you…
