What’s the use case for rsyslog on a modern desktop?
Cons
Duplicate data increases wear on SSDs.
May increase boot time in certain cases.
This has been discussed before in 2018 and 2019, but figure it’s worth a fresh discussion.
maybe mount noatime in fstab could be default, but thats not the server optimist way to do so.
