Rename file on desktop

Renaming a file in any folder works fine. But renaming a file on the desktop is difficult. If you need to move the cursor and change only part of the name, the window will close. How can I fix this?

What version of Ubuntu are you using, specifically also which file manager?

Have you tried renaming the file in the terminal?

Then as a workaround, you can navigate your file manager to Home (your home folder) > Desktop, to rename that file using the same interface as renaming files in other folders

Ubuntu 24.04.
It is possible to rename a file. But it does not happen correctly.
DESKTOP
If you move the cursor in the active window with the arrows on the keyboard or with the mouse, the window will simply close immediately. If you type text immediately, it will accept it and rename the file. There is no such problem if you rename a file located in a folder.

FOLDERS
Here is another problem.
If you rename a file located in any folder, then it is not possible to change the language in the active window. Only after closing the active window. But there is no such problem on the desktop.

Under the active window I will mark what is in the attached photo.
