Regression: Ark unable to extract or view 7z after p7zip to 7zip transition in noble Edit

Edit: since I am unable to reply due to the post being locked I will edit this post.

I am not in need of assistance. What I need is for the p7zip and ark Ubuntu maintainers to acknowledge the regression. It has been more than a month with no acknowledgement and I would like for this regression caused by the p7zip maintainer to be solved before Ubuntu 24.04 releases.

Ark is not maintained by the Ubuntu Desktop team. You want Kubuntu.
