Redirect outdated Server Docs to new location

hi! hope this is the right category, please let me know if I should post somewhere else.

I see that the Server Docs here are outdated and have a note “This documentation has moved to a new home! …” pointing to https://documentation.ubuntu.com/server/
(btw this is done on all pages except the main page at /docs)

Can we not redirect browsers automatically to the new location? This would also help in searches because Google (for example) currently is happily indexing the old, outdated location.
If the redirect is not possible for some reason, keep just the notice at the top, but remove all the content below, which is out of date.

Thanks for the great work!

Hi @Kamal, thanks for taking the time to post and sorry for the delayed reply, I’ve been out of the office

We’re currently in the process of migrating the documentation, and setting up the redirects/removing old content is the next (and last) step of the process. The gap between setting up the new docs and putting the redirects in was intentionally long, to make sure that people using the docs have plenty of notice to update their bookmarks and any external links, and so that they’re not taken by surprise by an unexpected redirect. The final phase will begin soon!
