Psql could not connect to server after reboot

psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
	Is the server running locally and accepting
	connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?

I have tried to follow a lot of tutorials available on the internet but unable to fix. Can somebody help me to solve this out please?
