Problem with new folder that appeared

I am running with ubuntu 24 and gnome

I have a machine that has the following:
1 3tb hard drive at /mnt/Misc
1 3tb ssd mounted at /boot/efi (holds all the ubuntu stuff.

I have no idea where this one came from but, when I goto ‘Files’ (shows basic stuff in Home, ie:
I can open it in a new tab
I can open it in a new windown
I suspect I can add it to bookmarks
I cannot delete it
I cannot unmount it (unless I am a superuser)

It has 3.0 TBtotal 1.5gb used 2.8 TB free
It also says “Open in disks” but disks doesn’t know about it. The parent folder is /mnt/ (mnt only show ONE Misc - the 3tb hard drive)

Permissions tells me I own it, etc.

This is just not a little problem because its appearing at other places. Its like its part of the real Misc but I have examined it and cannot find on one Misc - the 3tb hard drive.

I also think that I cleverly did this one but have no idea what I could have done to have created a mystery extra folder that seems to really be not there except sometimes.

Thoughts?

I do not understand: /boot/efi should be a partition of about 200-500 MB (NOT GB or TB) formatted FAT, not a drive. Please post the output from:
sudo lsblk -e7 -o NAME,LABEL,SIZE,FSTYPE,MOUNTPOINT

Post some actual info from commands.

lsblk -e 7 -o model,name,fstype,size,fsused,label,partlabel,mountpoint,uuid
sudo parted -l
ls -l

Hope this helps…

I should add. I am trying to deal with Sonarr. This one is a bit strange. I installed it with app center (no snap). Its there, it boots up, etc. The problem is that there is also a huge amount of information from a couple of years ago (have no idea - thought it was gone). Sonarr is a mess and I think my best thing is to just delete it and everything else that has anything with sonarr in it and start over from scratch. Just saying…

@drufus2002 may I suggest whenever you post command output or scripts that you help us help you by making it easy to read. This is described in #4 here: Support and Help posting guide

Simply edit your post and for each command output shown, select the text and click on the preformatted text icon (which looks like </> ).

I was asked to give information. I gave information. this is, exactly, how it was given to me. Has titles and everything. I have no idea how to make it better.

I have a problem that makes no sense, should not be, and impossible to explain. Hopefully there is somebody that might have a clue. Sorry if I did it all wrong.

Old Fred;

I below. Hope it makes some kind of sense though…

I just checked out my strange thing again. I went to files and, now, I only have a single “Misc” and its the right one! I have no idea why or how. Its included on stuff plugged into the system. I have another in other locations and that one is the 1tb ssd that holds the boot and all of ubuntu.

I guess I will go forward as my mystery got solved (for absolutely no reason!) I now get to wonder what is next. I think I gotta get rid of sonarr and start all over.

thank you for all the replies!
