Problem installing Ubuntu server: Mirror Address

Hi Community,

I am having difficulty installing ubuntu server 22.04 LTS. When the installation gets at mirror address, I see the following errors:

I also tried to install Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS, but I find the same problem.

Looking for possible solutions

Thanks

Did you check your network? It seems that you’re trying to connect via IPv6 (I do not see IPv4 addresses). I do not know if archive servers are reachable using IPv6.

Maybe there are IPv6 archive mirrors.

I’ll echo @g-schick on the ip4 setup make sure in the screens before the posted one. That the IPv4 is setup properly, and saved… another check will be the date time in the bios is set correctly

Hi @sgt-mike and @g-schick,

I am to trying to connect via IPv4 ( assign a Static IP manually), but I also tried with IP ( automatically assigned by DHCP). Both methods give the same error. What else do I have to check?

Thanks

How are you connected to the internet? What devices are used (router, …)?
Does the installer get internet connection using IPv6?
Are there other devices in the same network? If so, what are there internet connection settings?

Hi @g-schick,

We are connected to the internet via router. We also have a modem from the Internet service provider that is connected to the router, we also have the physical server. We are using IPv4.

Thanks

So you want to install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS as guest in a virtual machine?

Hi @g-schick,

We want to install ubuntu in the physical server; not in a virtual machine.

Thanks

Did you check:

For further help please provide more information on your systems hardware.

You may also try to boot into a live system and check if everything is working there.

And again the question: running the installer and configuring the network - is the installer able to connect to internet?
