packages.ubuntu.com web is not updated since Wed Nov 6.

If this is not the correct way to inform about this problem please point me where to do it. I (and also other people) opened a launchpad bug several days ago but it seems that nobody takes new bugs since mid July so it will probably ignored.

Thanks and best regards.

You could contact the bug supervisor directly via Launchpad. I believe Rhonda is also responsible for updating the site.

Thank you very much for your answer. I’ll try contacting the bug supervisor.

Unfortunately this person didn’t answer (and don’t have launchpad activity for the last months).

I think that nobody is currently in charge of packages.ubuntu.com website. A pity, it was very useful.

@fprietog, I’ve just seen a message on IRC from Rhonda saying the issue has been fixed and the site is updating again.

packages.ubuntu.com is currently maintained by a community member. We’ve been discussing with other community leaders on a path forward if that member is no longer interested in maintaining it.

Do you know where is the source code located, would like to improve the UI.

To my understanding, the current repo is here: https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/packages

@paulw2u , thank you very much for your help solving this issue and also Rhonda for the continuous work in this website.
@soumyadghosh , this website is very similar to https://www.debian.org/distrib/packages . Both shared the same source repo, the one @aaronprisk said.

My case usage of this website is to track and download several packages from distributions different that the one I’m using. So I got a process that download the compressed packages textlist from that distribution and compares the version of the packages I’m tracking with the ones I’ve installed warning me when a new version is available. Then I download the corresponding .deb files to update them.

Very useful website. Glad it’s not being retired.

Thanks again.
