no no it’s not a photo, it’s all done in photoshop with tons of multiple layers, gaussian blur, various masks, adding noise, a custom brush for the stars. And then after making one you put it as an overlay layer above others, and continue like this ( for example for 10-15 times) by changing the initial colors and shapes. By doing this you create an entire galaxy with different shapes
