Hello. Yesterday sound output from speakers and via headphones worked OK on my Lenovo Y50 laptop in 18.04.6. Today I installed 24.04.2 from scratch (not by update), and I can’t get any sound output, from the built in speakers or the headphones. When playing sound, the little graphic indicator under Settings → Sound → Output moves as if sound is playing. No error messages from apps that play sounds, like pw-play or Spotify, or from dmesg | grep -i "audio\|sound\|pulse\|alsa"
or journalctl -p 3 -xb | grep -i "pulse\|audio\|alsa"
(but possibly something relevant in the ALSA/HDA dmesg
section of the alsainfo dump below). Things look normal (nothing muted) in alsamix. How can I debug this?
Here is the alsainfo upload: http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=cb8b7a6903f12d44d160a204fcfec0fd0bfac756
(I attempted this fix, with no effect: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1529296/ubuntu-24-no-sound-from-the-speakers-lenovo-legion-pro-7 )
