No printing on different machines [Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS]

OK, I had some time to fix it today and I have a solution.

  1. Get drivers from HP support website:
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/samsung-xpress-sl-m2026-laser-printer-series/16462610

  2. Extract file (just double click):

uld_V1.00.39_01.17.tar.gz

  1. Settings \ Printers \ ⋮ [View More] \ Printer Details \ Install PPD File… \ Select PPD File:
    /uld/noarch/share/ppd/Samsung_M2020_Series.ppd

  2. In Terminal copy:
    From directory copy: /samsungM2026/uld_V1.00.39_01.17/uld/x86_64/rastertospl
    to: /usr/lib/cups/filter/

~$ sudo cp rastertospl /usr/lib/cups/filter/

  1. In Terminal install:
    From directory istall: /uld_V1.00.39_01.17/uld/install-printer.sh

~$ sudo sh install-printer.sh
