I just upgraded and noticed my shared folders are no longer visible on my network as well. From what I can tell it looks like Samba is just gone. I started going down the rabbit hole of reinstalling samba but just saw this and now I’m wondering if that’s what I should have done.
Hi @coreyaw1,
In the future, please do not resurrect 6+ -month-old threads, even if you think you have the same problem, because your problem may be entirely different. Just start a new topic. I’ve done this for you.
Hope this ends up in the right place.
Before you do anything drastic, I just went through this on LinuxMint, which is closely related to Ubuntu. First thing to try is to open a terminal and run the command:
sudo mount -a
If this brings your network back there’s an easy fix but it requires changing things in a sensitive system configuration file, so I’d like to see if it helps before having you jump down that particular rabbit hole.
