I am a Linux user since the early 90’s, I have tried many distributions including RadHat, Fedora, Slackware and Ubuntu.
I’ve been on IRC for over 20 years and since 2018 I’m part of the IRC Italy Ubuntu operators group.
In Italy I was the founder of a Linux User Group. Actually live and work in Germany .

mrpan is a providing a fundamental service on IRC Channel, both as support and as operator. I can rely on him as my own right hand in managing the IRC world of ubuntu-it. I think that a so dedicated service requires a recognition.

I met mrpan some years ago in some irc ubuntu chan and soon I discovered a friend, IRC operator, technician, tech enthusiast guy, he is european enough to born in south Italy and to live and work in Germany, he is so kind and calm to be a good member for the Ubuntu Community , he knows three different languages, his membership for Ubuntu is a natural step of his human carrier.

Hi, I am one of the IRC ops of Italian Ubuntu IRC channels.
I voted for his promotion as an IRC op and I know Mrpan from several years now.
Like Carlin0, also Mrpan is always present and available to support people. He is always friendly with everyone and there are no doubts on his hardware and software knowledge.

I have been a member of the Ubuntu Italian IRC Operators team since 2008 and I have been an administrator of the same since 2017.
Mrpan, like Carlin0, has been a member of the Ubuntu Italian IRC Operators team since 2018. I voted in favor when the Ubuntu-it IRC team evaluated his admission as a member.
Mrpan is very skilled and competent in Ubuntu technical support, probably also because he works as a system and network administrator. He is also good at managing IRC channels.
He is a quiet and kind person in IRC channels, even when he deals with rude people.
