I recall, this was one of the reasons why snapd was set to automatically update the apps in the background. I find this a good thing for most users anyways for security reasons, so on.
But is there some source about (best specifically for Ubuntu) about this?
The Desktop Team doesn’t really have anything to do with snapd, so this is posted in the wrong category.
Furthermore, while Snapcraft is a Canonical project, it’s not an Ubuntu project, so this kind of question really belongs on forum.snapcraft.io.
