We’re pleased to announce the release of Mir 2.17.2. This includes a few bugfixes and a new package - mir-x11-kiosk, primarily targeted at users of Ubuntu Frame with legacy X11 applications.

It is recommended that you migrate your snaps to use this new package in place of the legacy mir_kiosk_x11 repository, like we did for the glxgears example:
